About Me

My dad is a fantastic artist. When I was a little kid, he would draw Star Wars characters that looked as real as if they were photographs and I was blown away. Seeing someone, especially someone as role-model-worthy as my dad, making a piece of blank paper turn into a visual masterpiece had me jumping up and down in anticipation of what would happen when I put pencil to paper. The first time I poured everything my young heart had into a drawing, my subject: a full-color Tweety Bird, I cried from disappointment and shame at how short it fell from the vision my heart was searching for. Despite the pain, my faith in the possibility of greatness was unwavering.

A lot of time has passed since that first drawing and so have countless hours spent pursuing that original spark of inspiration. I’ve learned that in order to make something amazing, I would have to push through the fear of failure. Seeing breakthroughs happen in my art and design keeps me moving forward and when I witness a masterpiece from other artists it reminds me there is still room to grow and a reason to keep making.

When I look back on that little Tweety Bird drawing I made in the first grade I am thankful for all of the opportunities I have had since to become a better artist and designer.

My name is Morgan and I am an artist, designer, and illustrator with a passion for creating something bigger than the sum of its parts.

Please tell me what you think of my work and let me know if there is something I can make for you!
